UE is a program designed to replace the standard windows Explorer and it has some nice features the standard lacks. You can view and edit almost EVERY type of file (texts, spreadsheets, program and html code, images) without using external programs, you can work with most compressed file formats (bh, cab, qz, jar, lha, lzh, tar, zip, zoo and more) and even convert formats or create self-extracting archives. It also has a collection of text tools, an encryption tool of some sort, a clock/calendar and, for some reason, an Ascii table. Sadly, it lacks an ftp client and other features present in other file managers. But if the standard Explorer just doesn’t do it for you, UE offers a competent solution to your problem.
